"it" is "plans laid out long ago"
its only now that the tools have been created to advance these plans
none of these plans have changed over the decades and centuries
they are being discussed openly for anyone interested to join in the discussion
imagine you standing at the base of a mountain and seeing an avalanche go off up near the peak
it seems slow at first and looks like it will flatten out in two more weeks eventually
it almost seems to stop entirely at times but when you turn around and stop paying attention it keeps going, slowly, up there far away up the mountain, far away form you
its mesmerizing to look at and the scenery is binding you, you cannot leave, and somehow as future becomes present becomes past you cant get rid of the notion of a distant monotone rumbling sound getting louder and louder
yeah
how to stop the avalanche ?
