The only games that you might have problem with on Linux are those with kernel level anti cheat. But even that is being worked on.
Btw, this is not Linux making up for what Windows has or whatever. This is circumventing games being made for Windows only for no other reason than vendor lock in. Most games made today are made on engines that have native Linux support. All they have to do is click "export to Linux" but they don't do it. Linux can do everything Windows can and it had to be reinvented or reverse engineered. Windows takes Linux entirely since it's open source and puts it into their system as WSL which in my mind is admition that their system sucks and Linux is required to do most dev work. But they don't want to you to leave Windows on desktop, so they give you WSL to run gcc/whatever inside of it and you can keep using their gay windows+microsoft teams+vscode+cisco corpo vpn globohomo tech combo
