Of all the things they may do, that's the least likely.
Their current tactics revolve around hiding under brush and trees, moving lightly, and trying to accumulate on the margins under as much concealment as possible. Winter deprives much of that, which is why it is broadly assumed there will be an operational slow-down for RU forces until 2026 soon-ish.

Or maybe not. More meat for the blender is also an option.
