honestly due to the weird size gap between the 12 year old members of the cast and the 15 year old members(and how we don't really see any explicitly 13 or 14 year old teens in the show from my recollection), I can't help but imagine Puberty being extra weird in the Gravity Falls universe, like rather than being a gradual over time thing, it just happens all at once in an explosive manner, like some sort of Werewolf thing except with a lot more sweat and awkwardness(something in the vein of the attached pic)

presumably a similar second growth spurt happens around 18(among other things explaining why the kid and teen characters only have four fingers but adults have five)
