I disagree and spent years studying Mycrology pioneering the entire field. Mycroft are fascinating creatures intelligent but whimsical. An apt comparison would be to the fae of D&D. While the average Mycroft is whimsical they're only like that to subvert attention from their deep pain. Their culture is easily the most fascinating leaning towards cats, silly art works and in relationships Mycroft are often fleeting tending to wander between potential mates but never selecting one.
You say least interesting but I would classify Michelium Croftious as the single most important discovery of the modern age. Imagine the things we could learn.
