You don't need them unless you don't eat food.
If you're going this far to take care of yourself (which is good), focus on the things that mattered. Something that made a big difference for me was shampoo. Used to use L'oreal, switched to something natural (tea tree oil in my case) and my hair feels and looks a LOT better.
I am currently leaning towards the shampoo being the cause for my sudden hair loss at 34. I had exceptionally thick hair for the first 34 years of my life. Suddenly diffusely thinning at 34 is cause for concern. I suspected the shampoo when I learned that most big brands are being sued for causing hair loss and then selling treatments for it. Wildest thing
