>Those are hated also. Only bean counters like them. They are shit in the field and the stainless rusts up. More case separations also.
This is because the Army was retarded in demanding a new rifle and full power cartridge. The M16/M4 family of small arms are fundamentally excellent as infantry weapons. More focus should have been placed on 5.56 as a cartridge instead of the rifle. It is objectively true the bi-metallic cartridges can handle more pressure with mongoloids like Sobchak Security LLC doing hand loads with .277 fury brass modified to .308, .300 blk and all other sorts of other things having excellent performance. The technology has a massive potential. The current iteration of it just sucks. If they actually gave a shit about armor penetration they'd have issued 20" - 16"uppers with bi-metalic hot loads that would slice though anything the chinks could make. It would have been a fraction of the cost.

>- You can have variable fire rate.
already possible with mechanical systems. see AN94
>- You can set the bolt to retract after the bullet fully leaves the barrel so 100% of the energy goes into the bullet.
already possible with mechanical systems. see delayed blowback/locking mechanisms
>- You don't need to worry about fouling of gas tubes and you can keep the barrel construction more simple.
not worth making the gun less reliable.
>- You can power gyroscopic stabilizers for precision shooting if you're in a situation where it's difficult to hold still and take clean shots.
lmfao
>- You can devise an ammunition feed into the breech that doesn't rely on spring loaded magazines.
lmfao. No reason for this, you have any idea how much power that would actually require? Look at the batteries used by miniguns which do this.
>- The mechanical complexity is reduced and it's actually easier to design and make homemade builds.
You're telling me its easier to make batteries and integrated circuits at home than springs? fucking retard
>- You can set the trigger force to what ever you want, right down to the force needed to click your mouse button so you don't need to worry about movement issues when firing.
its called replacing the trigger and getting a polished sear surface, retard. People do this all the time without batteries.
>- You can experiment with other technologies that wouldn't be possible just through mechanical systems triggered off gas pressure alone.

this post tells me you know literally nothing about how firearms work or the principals involved in their design. You've probably never even shot a gun in your life. None of what you posted is worth the weight of a battery let alone the failure points electronics would introduce.
