He kills the bum because he is doing something I call emotion hunting. Slaying the hobo makes him fearful of being caught and satisfied and thankful of being in a higher societal standing.
Narcissist hunt for emotions because their brain eventually filters those emotions away. It gets worse and worse until they can only get emotional by killing someone for example. He doesn't kill the hobo because there's nothing wrong with that. He kills the hobo because he does feel there is something wrong with that.
Emotions feels good, man. Everything becomes kind of pointless without them.

One morning and I'm walking down my condo. I see a big, black scary pickup parked outside. As I turn and walk down the stairs to the next level I hear a loud screeching sound. I look outside the window on that next level and I see that the car is gone.
Was it just a guy who really had to go really fast then and now? Maybe. Was it a GS who was planning a little schizo-trixo on me? Possibly.
Did he plan on one of the windows being open, letting me hear him burn rubber? Probably not.
It's these little pranks that makes a lot of TI question what is real and what is not.
It's possible that a prolonged exposure to these shenanigans can make the TI start to question simpler things like if they have schizophrenia or not, if they do contract schizophrenia. The answer to the problem doesn't lie in finding a key difference in schizophrenia and good old planned gaslighting.
