>I need a hive lord killer loadout. I also heard that damage to the hive lord carries over to other missions in the operation, is this true? Alsi, does killing a hivelord in one mission stop it from spawning in the next?
The only part of your build that you should compromise for anti-hivelord duty is freeing up one slot to bring Eagle Strafing run. The other highly impactful stratagem is the AC mech, but you should have been bringing that to caves anyway. Everything else that is really good vs the hive lord is some mix of either being shit dealing with cave stuff and/or is vulnerable to being wasted if the hive lord decides to just body slam you first moments after you spawn it. The AC mech is vulnerable to being wasted by being body slammed, but it's worth it since it's actually really fucking useful for the rest of the mission.

Priority #1 is to break one of its armored plates. If you're on foot then you should throw as many strafing runs at the hivelord as you can while spending the rest of your time focusing on keeping the rest of the smaller bugs under control. If you are in the AC mech, you want to concentrate all of your AC fire on a single armor plate. If someone is already spamming AC fire into a plate then concentrate your own fire on the same plate.

Once a plate has been destroyed, then keep throwing strafing runs at it and concentrate fire on the squishy exposed bits. I think technically things like the auto-cannon in flak mode or the HMG have the highest DPS vs the exposed flesh, but it's not worthy compromising your build to bring those for the hive lord. If the flesh is exposed then just keep doing what you were doing and you're close to winning.

more reddit lies.

>tl;dr
repeatedly apply AC mech and strafing run to the hive lord.
Helldivers
Are you enjoying the new update?

I'm gonna start with this:
Helldiver Changes:
>OPS AOE damage is boosted so that it can more reliably destroy heavies without literally needing a direct hit
>Democracy Protects provides invulnerability for 1 second upon triggering to avoid the stupid "oh, you survived death with 1 HP, but the impact from falling over kills you" bullshit.
>One True Flag provides a "Democracy Protects" effect for all helldivers within 50m. This stacks with Democracy Protects armor by giving them a second separate dice roll to avoid death. Additionally it shortens the cooldown timer of all stratagems within that 50m radius. We'll start with a 25% reduction and adjust the percentage in either direction based on feedback. These effects cannot be stacked with multiple flags.
>Epoch gets demo force equivalent to EAT. Magazine size is increased to 5, and spare magazine count is proportionally reduced. The "blue flash" animation becomes synchronized with entering the overcharged state. Grace period before detonation is increased to be normalized with the railgun's grace period.
>HMG receives one extra spare magazine
>Solo silo is invulnerable. Further buffs are likely needed, but for now it at least won't be denied by a stiff breeze.

Enemy changes:
>Hive lord cannot spawn on mobile refinery missions
>Dragon roach will attempt to land and act as a land unit if its wings take heavy damage
>Dragon will crash to the ground and take fall damage if its wings are outright destroyed before it can land.

on the to-do list
>sweeping re-balances to the durability mechanic by assessing if weapons need increased durability damage or certain enemies need reduced durability values. Notably light pen weapons will receive substantially increased durability damage across the board
Slight additions have been made. Hit me only now that the new bugs are like the antlions from Half Life 2. Except worse.
