Gravure Paradise!

Katsuragi Sakura is a novice gravure idol who dreams of gracing magazine covers. When she is rescued by fan Sumida Shinobu following a stalking incident, she begins staying at the shared house where he lives. Together with Shinobu, who had previously failed in his dream of becoming a film director, Sakura strives to climb her way to stardom. The drama portrays the dangerous underground world of the gravure industry, showing how the pair faces fierce popularity contests, dangerous schemes by unscrupulous managers, and the predatory clutches of industry figures consumed by their own desires.
