There was a cave south of the goblin town that warned me to not go foreward, what is that?

I was lvl 3 or 4 at the time I thought that was the undredark but I have since leveled up to 5 and found the underdark entrance through the kidnappers secret hide out and went all the way to the forge/nere....so....what was this early place i found?
