The whole problem in the world today stems from the philosophies, religions, laws that promote slavery. I want to protect the faith of Catholics, but unfortunately Catholic doctrine historically has promoted the legitimacy of slave ownership through the unbiblical teaching of purgatory. Sure homosexuality promotes slavery, or one man submitting to another man, and so does nature itself seemingly promote that some men are weak and others are strong and that the weak should be submissive to the strong. However Christianity should teach that one man should make the other man stronger, and not dominate, weaken and eventually kill the other man. That we should love each other as yourself.
Ancient religions have attempted to legitimize slavery through making the weak pay alms, or in Catholic terms indulgences. This places a burden on men to pay their own way into Heaven or freedom. Egypt had the same teaching of weighing a man's heart against a feather to measure the amount of work they did to get to heaven. It is what I call works based religion. That men be made slaves to work in order to legitimize their existence. This is what men and homosexuals encourage in the world by their actions, works, and vain philosophies.
Jesus is the only teaching in the world that claims that men's freedom, rights, and claim to heaven come from having their way paid for by God himself. That God sent a holy and acceptable sacrifice to pay with his own blood for your freedom, life, and heavenly possessions. All a free gift. It is the only religion that teaches this, which is why it is said no man comes to the father except by Jesus.
