I feel you. But don't worry, anon. There are new opportunities every day.
I used to love shooting baskets. When I quit my office wageccuking/humiliation ritual two years ago I started going to the park every day to shoot, rain or shine. I maintained this routine until an old man leg injury a few months ago.
When shooting my goal was to at least miss so the rebound would stay in the half-court—a bad miss could result in the rebound bouncing and rolling all the way to the other end of the court, down a grade, and into a street rolling downhill. So, a nice arching shot with good rotation was a must. I've applied the same philosophy to picking my plays in the jewish casino. I also believe it's wise to balance the gambling with actual investing.
