This is going to make me sound like a schizo, but I actually think that GameFreak is planning another Sinnoh revisit of some kind

Looking at the Sinnoh Pokemon, they are the only mons to not get any regional variants or convergent evolutions. Excluding the Paldea starters, after ZA, the Sinnoh starters will be the only trio to not have any sort of alternate form or power-up. Even looking at Paradox Pokemon, Misdreavus and Magneton are the only Pokemon (excluding Jigglypuff who gets a pass for being a series staple) who have Paradox forms based on a pre-evolution instead of their Gen IV final evolutions. Legends ZA is giving Megas to the Kalos Starters but Legends Arceus didn't give anything to the Sinnoh starters. Legends ZA is giving Zygarde a new form but Legends Arceus didn't do the same for Arceus. And Froslass is the only Sinnoh Pokemon getting a Mega in ZA--likely just to complete the match with its counterpart

I think that GameFreak has been trying to avoid revisiting Sinnoh Pokemon either for a surprise Platinum remake or for an expansion to Legends ZA that will involve us traveling to Sinnoh to find Sycamore and his mentor Professor Rowan much like the Blueberry Academy DLC.

I think that the reason the remainder of Creation Trio doesn't get crazy buffs or new abilities in their Origin Formes is because in the future, their stones will also double as Mega-stones
