I'll paraphrase what I said on /hhg/, plus a few more thoughts. From what we've seen it looks bad. But I think it'll depend on the context of the scene, and what Viv eventually does with their relationship in the future. Charlie definitely doesn't have any malicious intentions in being less affectionate, but if we're supposed to take their relationship at face value and see it as a good relationship from this, then it really falls flat. It kind of works as giving them the potential to grow. But it depends on Viv. Could be good, could be shit.
