If you want the overall standard of quality of indie animation to be improved, maybe start with more reasonable comparisons like TV shows instead of movies. Why the fuck are you bringing up Princess Mononoke (which took years to earn its reputation outside of Japan) and Weapons (frankly a random choice) and not at least Blue Eye Samurai?

For its flaws, TADC IS raising the bar. Hazbin Hotel was never intended to be self-funded and Helluva Boss just exists to farm whales who will buy merch of their favorite colorful twink. TADC's the only other indie animated show to really break through into the cultural stratosphere.
