Aerith is generally speaking the most mentally untouched of the cast. Everyone is suffering from some kind of mental anguish in some way or antagonizes over some off-screen boogeyman.

Red obsesses over his father, Yuffie obsesses over her indignant country, Tifa fixates on trying to hold onto Cloud whilst he is still in her life, Cid is bitter about the space program thing, Barret holds an extreme grudge against an entire company, Vincent is depressed over losing the love of his life.

In comparison Cloud is completely fucked.
