>You treat IQ as the only factor in human connection meanwhile empathy plays a role too
Of course it does, but empathy in a relationship between two highly unequally intelligent individuals will only drive the more intelligent one into acting as a mentor for the less intelligent one. It will only drive them away from forming a genuine friendship, as the two both understand the other's entirely different capabilities and experiences to a degree, where they recognize they will not have a freely flowing and enjoyably easy interpersonal relationship. And this is entirely neglecting the fact that the two will fundamentally be entirely different types of people, who most likely will just not feel like being friends with each other. People form friendships based on relatability and benefits gained on both sides and that's not what would happen in this scenario.
>Same with emotional intelligence, shared experience, values, humor, kindness etc.
Naturally, but the problem at hand is that all of these will be different between the two individuals as I already pointed out. The two individuals will be different to such a significant degree that they will not have a shared pool of meaning upon which to connect to one another.
