Eh, some people say yes some no. The big thing is 1 - 99 and story missions are very soloable now so some people dont like that. POst-99 content its not too difficult to find people to do stuff with. However for new people I definitely recommend having at least 1 or 2 other people to experience the game with. While old stuff is soloable its very easy to get burned out alone.
