Honestly, using the 'sketch' tool in img2img or saving the image and editing in an external editor is the only 'advanced' piece of advice I'd really recommend for getting started.

My preference is to just let the AI do its own thing. I don't go in to any of these thinking, "I want the cock to be [this] big, and there must be precisely [this many] goblins..." My brain just goes, "hoo hee, MACHINE PRINT HORNY IMAGE" and away we go. Personally, if I were going to put that much effort into something, I'd rather just spend that time practicing my own art.

The only tips I really have are, get really familiar with Danbooru and e621 tags, especially for poses. Often poses have weird or unexpected names, like "doggy style" is "on all fours" and there are subtle differences between things like "kneeling" and "sitting on knees" (seiza).

Also re: sketching, remember you don't have to draw perfectly neat lines. The AI works off noise, sort of like 'shades'. So as long as you draw blobs of distinct colours, it'll usually figure out what you want just by the contrast from one region to the next.
