I hate the shit out of L-shaped Ruins too anon but to put it in Magic terms you're comparing the one table in the corner playing Planechase Commander to the rest of the LGS that's playing a Modern tournament. I'd like it if we got to see more asymmetrical table setups to complement the asymmetrical deployments in the newest Chapter Approved deck, but I know if they did that tourneyfags would start arguing over shit like "Why does my opponent get the good half of the board?"
