I find comics and fics where Spamton is happy that Tenna never stopped thinking about him to be kinda OOC
(and it lowkey bugs me that a lot of shippers haven't been in a relationship or even talked to someone in one)
The ch3 Pipis scene came off like Spamton having a "gotcha" moment and trying to call Tenna out for being a fake IDGAFer. I get the impression that even in the past, Tenna tried to hide the more "personal" aspects of their partnership and pass it off as just a business relations in public(tbdesu, not even sure if the TV World employees even know Spamton existed given Battat has no idea what Tenna meant by "that other guy"). This is despite the fact that Tenna is actually quite clingy and guilt trippy towards Spamton, which Spamton would feel negatively about because he can't stand being controlled.
I can imagine Spamton being really fucking pissed that not only did Tenna ruin his life, him trying to pry into Spamton's secret wasn't just for business but an attempt to gain more control. All because he let his BPD go untreated and ended up dragging Spamton down too.
It might've even been that Spamton saw Tenna's downfall as self-inflicted and it being in the prophecy meant he never improves. His whole broken home speech in the snowgrave route feels like he was also ranting at Tenna, like he was always anticipating that Tenna would finally ruin his own life like he did Spamton's.
That is to say, Spamton isn't unaware of Tenna's feelings. Spamton resents Tenna BECAUSE the idiot box is very emotional with possessive tendencies, who wants to have a stranglehold on everyone close to him because he's scared of them leaving, while hiding it under the guise of being a businessman making business decisions.
