today I will spend 2 hours getting to a workplace BBQ that may or may not be happening just to casually show up and be seen because I recently put in a job application and some people in that department don't really know who I am
I feel so pathetic giving up my nice day just for slim the chance of increasing my social status to secure a job
I will bring refrigerated cans of cola in my backpack to contribute to the BBQ
