The Drag-On Dragon games were dead ever since Cavia folded. If anything, the Nier games kept the series relevant now that that IP can't be used anymore for one reason or another and it's trapped on older consoles. They just need to ported off of the PS2 and PS3 is all (especially Drakengard 3 since PS3 emulation is still rather hardware intensive. The PS2 games can easily be played through PCSX2)
