So since we're just about done with TWW, and anyone that cares enough about the last raid has likely done it by now to get a decent idea of how things are, what's everyones favourite boss of the expansion?
Dungeon or Raid.
For me, Fractillus in Manaforge Omega.
He's not hard, Heroic's even pretty piss easy, I like the coordination mechanic of it just fucking with people that can't be bothered turning their camera around to count walls because I like watching people suffer.
But what I like is the same reason I liked Echo of Neltharian in Dragonflight. The power on display of players getting slammed through walls. I like that as a necessary mechanic to not completely screw over the raid group. I mean knockbacks are a dime a dozen mechanic that's mostly just a minor annoyance and serves no purpose other than "You're over there now, get back in position." Or to knock you off a ledge or whatever.
But I like seeing it used in this fashion because it puts some weight behind the boss itself. The knockback alone feels the same boring dumb way it usually does, but combined with impact to crash through a wall? That shits awesome, and hilarious. I enjoy the idea of having to save the raid by taking a hard enough hit to break the scenery.
Pic only semi related because Fractillus isn't in Narcissus yet, but hey, same rough idea, and I respect the power of even visage Deathwing to break the world under my spine too. Both fights were stupid fun to me for that specific and dumb reasoning.
