I used to work customer service and people would call in ALL THE TIME with their smoke detectors chirping in the background. HOW DO YOU JUST KNOW the're a "Chirp"
That sounds like alarm fatigue. When you are so annoyed by an alarm and don't want to silence it that the noise just becomes background noise.
