Is mindgames/"Deathgames" a relatively unexplored genre or am I just missing out on a lot of them?

Classic isn't fun because the community is a bunch of sweats for a piss easy game from 20 years ago.
SoD was more fun not only because of the content but because the community wasn't as sweaty.
And I don't mean "Taking the game seriously" when I say sweating, I mean people minmaxxing the fun out of the game and getting mad when everyone else doesn't do the same.
