When and where did Americans get this jaded idea about Europe - for instance about how they think everyone is supposedly poor there, or being mass invaded by muslims and somehow quality of life is worse?

Quite confusing to see most of Europe actually having a better quality of life, with taxes benefiting people which helps reduction of spending and allowing people to save more, education is cheaper to actually free for Universities, unlimited access to healthcare with no extra costs to the patient, affordable groceries with no extra chemicals for god knows why and drinks actually flavoured by actual fruit juices and not "natural flavors" of chemical mixes with 0 fruit juices.

Why do Americans also cling to their GDP as if it affects them too, they get nothing from it but they covet it like it is Jesus' hairy balls.

I have known Americans who moved here for work and out of the 16 I know, 14 do not want to go back home, the other 2 are in two minds about it but miss their families. But I have noticed when they tell their friends or family about the quality of life here they are almost shot down by fantasies that somehow they are being brainwashed into thinking America is worse. That shit is scary to see, actual Americans believing that lie while being shafted hard for their hard earned money and get little in return.

So yeah I wonder where this hate and misinformation comes from, I hope you all try and live here in Europe somewhere to experience the difference.

While it is normal for sugar to be in products, the US goes overboard with it. And another thing with American food products is the lack of natural ingredients in things. Ketchup in the US has a shit tonne of corn syrup instead of sugar and "natural flavours" which is a lie to American consumers to fool them into thinking they are adding natural ingredients but "natural flavours" is additives and chemical based flavouring.

Similar to Tango, there is literally no real orange in it in the US, outside the US (except Mexico) - Tango is a natural orange colour with real orange juices. In the US the "Natural flavours" comes up again, why is it so luminescent orange in colour? Well that is fake too.

Bread is full of sugar also.. which is just bad.

But one big major thing the US does is over spice things, you hear them talk about how bland things are outside the US - that is because Americans are growing up to accept over spiced foods - so over spiced they cannot taste the main ingredient anymore. So they think it is normal for food to be like this. Yet you could have a Chicken Vindaloo anywhere outside the US which is very spicey but you can still taste the chicken which makes it tasty as fuck.. the US it is just spice flavour and if lucky a hint of chicken, beef or whatever the main ingredient is. The only thing that is great with a fair bit of sugar is BBQ like ribs etc, they are done great and you can taste the main ingredient.. that is how food should be.
