no I'm not elder boomer. But I'm still in whiplash over how fast things changed with computers between 2000 and 2012ish then how it all hit a wall. Now it's all bullshit vaporware tech giants like google advertises, dyson spheres, AI, quantum computers. Really feel something off happened around sandy hook shooting. Like technology hit a peak with the iphone and we're living in dark ages again. Kind of expected more space stuff happening by now 15 years ago or so. Blockchain and POW crypto feels like the most "fun" tech for masses when you ignore the scam/startup cons parts.
