Is there a single person, anywhere, who runs any corporate empire, or is some mega philanthropist, industry incubator, or anything who is known for securing their wealth due to crypto trading? Is there a single verifiable story about someone whose what-the-hell $100 purchase of bitcoin back in 2010 or whenever launched them into a life of wealth and luxury? Why is it the same people you see again and again as bitcoin commentators, experts, "influencers," etc? I mean, shouldn't they be so rich now there's no need to grovel for clicks?
This is how the whole thing looks to anyone who asks just a couple of obvious questions. I don't have to conclude that it's some kind of scam, but what I observe pretty much speaks for itself.
And at the back end of it all, who in the world could possibly think that governments would tolerate a viable medium of exchange outside of all other financial systems? What tells me that crypto is not viable as anything but a vehicle for speculation is that if it were anything more than that, it would no longer exist.
