But your pic to me is just some artist indulging his own random impulse instead of building something sophisticated with consistent themes.
I've seen "coomeriffic" artist like Ito Sei or Murata with far more creativity than some "artsy manga", while also doing the harder job of creating interwined plot.

As a wannabe-writer I cal tell you that planning things multiple chapters ahead is how you recognize a masterpiece.
