Homestuck sucks and so does everything spun off from it. The fact that the cartoon is reintegrating some of those spin-offs won't make it any better or worse: it'll be the exact same flavor of trash, only now you're all adults and thus some of you have read/watched stuff that's actually good to compare it to.
