Whenever you run a gen on a site like Civit, it's running on their servers that they're paying the costs for (like electricity and maintenance if they're local servers, or cloud costs if they're cloud servers). Flux models are bigger than SDXL models so they take more resources to run a gen, which is why Civit or other sites would charge more for them.
