Man why does Elfilis theorizing have to pick up the one night I actually do need to sleep at a reasonable time...

>They were probably born from Void.
I still autistically hold that the brothers are probably about as ancient as Void and simply playing another role in the universal food chain, Void being birth, the brothers being death, which I hold in part due to their visual contrast and the lore connections Void and Elfilis have with the ancients respectively (Elfilis allowing the ancients to go to space in the first place, and then them going on to seal Void). To add to them being parallels, I do somewhat feel like Elfilin is likely meant to be to Elfilis what Kirby is to Void in a way, between the nice personality as opposed to destructive, as well as still having access to devastating power but on a smaller scale, and used for more positive ends. As for...
>We do know Fecto was drawn to the planet by Neichel's song "TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS"
The fact it's Elfilin specifically who tells us that is what makes me doubt a scenario like >>539175918 , since it's as close as direct confirmation as we can get in terms of why Elfilis even came to the Forgotten Land to begin with. As for the reason they broadcast it, best I can think of is that maybe it's the Forgotten Land's equivalent of the golden disc NASA sent into space and it was Elfilis it managed to contact specifically? And things get muddied seeing as Last Song kinda feels like it implies Neichel could've known even more than she let on, seeing as she let the ancients go off to a land she said was the result of "dreams gone so wrong". The sign (restored) figure also clarifies that she was considered a prophet, which... makes stuff even more perplexing.
>and why do you think Neichel had her prophetic dream?
Best I can think of is maybe she was unusually attuned to Dream matter and that's why? Not sure...

For what it's worth, the track where Forgo grabs Elfilin is called "Gemini Reunion" too
