Like, if you're an individual infanterist you're pretty much screwed and I understand the Russian tactic is to zero rush no matter the costs.

But Russians also launch drone attacks on civilians in Ukraine. So to me it would make sense to have more effective drone defenses on both sides.

Electronic warfare is one way of dealing with this, but aren't there any more kinetic options? The nazis had flak 90 years ago already, so how come that isn't pursued as a cheaper alternative to launching patriot missiles? I understood it was just a high explosive shell, lots of shrapnel with a timed fuse.
