Funny shit found a request for funding proposal from US Aid for the late 80's that ended up funding shows like Double Dare to heavily promote Red Team Vs. Blue Team division amongst their audience. they would do shit like having the red team comprise of regular white nuclear families and blue team be a blended/mixed/ethnic race family. they were paid upwards of $ 2,750,000/season, and Mark Sommers personally was given $250,000/year for the entire 7 seasons the show aired. there were psych research papers and shit written up on this project and external manipulation of group preference after the show ended.

TLDR: we were programmed to have a red v blue mentality since birth
