I feel alienated when watching a VTuber who isn't my oshi.
When she addresses the chat, I don't perceive myself as part of the audience she's speaking to.
When she's being lovey dovey toward her fans, it leaves me unmoved.
And when she shares personal struggles or traumatic experiences, I find myself feeling uncomfortable, even repulsed, whereas I feel genuine sympathy when my oshi does the same.
