Yes, yes, and no. I had access to my phone and laptop, although they usually stayed in the kitchen. I also was not allowed to sleep with my phone. I wanted to go completely without it, but keeping them in the kitchen was our compromise. Because it's sort of necessary for driving, and emergencies come up, and I do think it's important to keep up with friends.

Most of my friends are people that I met at dungeons, rope studios, and munches. So of course they know. The friends from college that I'm close to know. Hometown friends and parents just know that I was living with my gf for a while.
