Yeah, this is normal. Women 'all of a sudden' are open to new ideas when they sense their current programming chip has become unpopular. Their job, on a genetic level, is to parrot the tribal party line. About 10-15% of them are truly independent thinkers but that's not the majority. This is just a chick inquiring what the new styles are this year because she suddenly suspects her wardrobe is outdated. Don't get me wrong: You can fill her head with facts and she'll parrot them off with THE most authoritative look on her face, but she's not going to be reading books about that shit.
