Both of those costs are incorrect, I think.
AIM-9s in current year are like $300k, and AIM-120s (which was the actual missile that was used) is like $2 million.
Then, the Gerberas are literally made of plywood with a $500 engine; I can't imagine they cost more than $5,000, nowhere near $10,000. I think they were mistaking it for the cost of Gerans, which are apparently like $30,000.
And of course, at the end of the day, these costs are not the full picture either. You have to take into accounts the means by which these were produced, whose economy, employment, PP, etc. Nuance is the enemy of the GDP army, not the price tag. It is precisely the obsessive reduction of everything into a price tag which will contribute to their downfall.
