Ah yes, I know the feel, I was you waiting for Clefable to be added, then the rumors that was going around saying she was scrapped, but I didn't listen I still had cope that she will be added, and boom she was added in October which was really special to me because Halloween is my fav Holiday.

Suddenly, Pokémon S/V came out and Tinkaton end up as one of my fav mons that I wanted her for Unite which later Unite 2nd Anniversary happened and I saw Tinkaton in picrel expecting her to be added, I remember being all like "Cool, my new fav mon is going to be added a day after my birthday!" to end up finding out she was an NPC for a Gamemode which made a lot of people upset about that and everyone was saying she'll never be playable, but I had cope and she was added last year in December which Christmas is my second fav Holiday so it was special to me.

As long, you have cope, it could happen like those who want Audino to be playable, maybe the Megas being added will also make Audino playable, also the chances of Lopunny, Mawile, Diancie to be added have also increased.
