>Be me
>Spending hours in Skyrim
>Oh boy, another dragon attack while I’m trying to pick flowers
>Giant open world, but it's basically empty with just a bunch of repetitive quests
>”Oh no, a bandit! Yawn.”
>Every quest is like “go fetch me this” or “kill that.”
>Can’t even name a single interesting character besides that one guy who’s “not my brother”
>Literally forget the entire main story after killing Alduin because who cares?
>Dragon Shouts are cool until you realize they’re just glorified power-ups that don’t mean anything
>Gameplay breaks down into spamming Fus Ro Dah on everything
>Magic system feels unbalanced and janky
>Combat feels like swinging a hunk of wood
>Graphics were okay... in 2011
>Are we still pretending the NPCs aren’t just soulless mannequins?
>Fast forward to Fallout 4
>Post-apocalyptic Boston, attractively ruined architecture everywhere
>Power-armored badass with a vault suit; how cool is that?
>Actually give a darn about the main quest (Looking for my kid, feel the feels)
>Multiple factions, moral choices that actually matter
>“Should I help the Minutemen, Brotherhood, or Railroad?”
>CRAFTING SYSTEM
>Build your own settlements and make them look amazing or like a total dump; choice is mine
>Finally, a real gunplay mechanic; feels good to pop caps in ghouls
>Action points, VATS, perks - customizable playstyle heaven
>EVERY NPC has personality and backstory, not just “hey there, traveler.”
>Companions with actual dialogue that add to the story - Piper, I love you
>Graphics that still look good and there are mods that make it look stellar
>Endgame content is actually engaging and gives you something to do
>Fallout 4 mods community is HUGE; DLCs worth the cash
In conclusion, Skyrim is like that dusty old tome you read once and forgot about
Fallout 4’s like that video game that you can’t put down because it keeps giving you new stuff to explore and do
Change my mind.
