>be me
>have skyrim in both Steam and GOG
>always spend a dumb amount of time modding it
>sometimes I just screw up without knowing what went wrong but most of the time it just goes on fine
>don't feel compelled to play it on PC after modding it
>recently saw Skyrim AE on sale on Switch
>"what the hell, I make more than what the game costs in a week, I've got nothing to lose"
>since it's on console I don't have to deal with the hassle of modding
>shit just works
>found myself investing waaaay more hours of playtime on Switch in a couple of days than all my years trying to get me to play on PC
Sure the Switch version may be the "worst" version of the game by virtue of being unmoddable and the most expensive one compared to sales on PC but nothing beats just turning the Switch on and just playing and shit just works.
I'm roleplaying a Guts like Redguard fighting with Greatswords, crafting and enchanting them and I'm having a blast.
Also makes me wonder who was the idiot who said Xenoblade X's map is bigger than Skyrim's, that map is tiny in comparison.
