BotW for me is the obvious choice since I actually own it, but I have yet to play through it completely. Did it for about a week, was having fun, but then I stopped and just never went back. Dropping 70 bucks to play the sequel seems weird at this point. Can't say the one-offs are reassuring considering they're top-down instead of 3D. That's the whole fear, that all of them will be like that from now on. /v/ is a fun place, but never let it mold your opinions. Better to enjoy something than let someone else ruin it for you.

I just liked it better in every way. Better weapons, better characters, better plasmids, better fights and enemy variety. The hacking minigame is technically better since it keeps the flow of combat but I'm a nerd who liked Pipe Dream in 1 so I still mourn the change. The story may not hold the meta factor of 1, but it's more personable and hits way harder in the end.
