Symbolicance is a neat showcase of ornamentation and layering, minimalist in its form usually with just an extremely repetitive spiraling riff playing endlessly in the background while various layers of madness and effects are added or removed. Red Star is a great example of that, although maybe The Black is my favorite track (reminded me a bit of JG's track Prometheus Ends in Onan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ApsLfhd_ao because of those low catchy riffs and screaming highlights), bit hard to tell since given the extreme lengths of the tracks, its more a question of which part of a track hit the mark.

Worst aspect are some of the transitions between different riffs or to a quiet section are exceptionally abrupt.

Glad someone got anything out of it, its probably among the most extreme albums you could listen to, so I was expecting an even worse response than JG. I think Plasmodium is their closest comparison, but even that has vocals at least lol, and its not quite as insane with the noise elements. Their "riffs" are very similar to each other though.
