I see people on instagram talk about it, I see deviantart talk about it, I see reddit, and discords, and even one time a random blogger account talk about it. It's just funny to see the surprising reach of a Liberian leather working thread.

I think that's the nostalgia speaking, because for me the covid era was the peak. People had nothing better to do, but make art and stories, so by proxy it kinda forced the scene to grow and expand. Once the restrictions were lifted, people went back to their normal lives and had far less time for this. I don't know if we'll ever reach that PEAK again, because that would require a bunch of people to get off of work and start drawing wedgies and shit, and let's be honest, most aren't doing that.
