My childhood friend is single now. Her ex bf sexually abused her and cheated on her and her father recently passed. Her mother is also gone and both her mom and my mom were best friends at the time. I recently got out of a hellish 5 year relationship. The problem is my childhood friend probably doesn't remember me because I was 11 when I moved away and social media wasn't really a thing yet. I know this info from her facebook but I deleted mine and haven't made another one. Am I retarded for wanting to go for it? How do I not mess this up?
