It was nice, you did a much better job with that scene than the one in StN that the commenter was referencing. That fic is terrible, a cavalcade of catastrophic characterization. In StN, the actual astronomers guild is similarly told to fuck off, but you did a better job linking it to art and the result was not anything like Twilight's embarrassment of a performance.

About Kibitz, though, I don't agree with the earlier posts that he was so great. I get why using him shortens the story, and he's not terrible, but a lot of things about putting him together with Luna like that irk me. Most importantly, he's Celestia's seneschal, an officer of the day court, and not nocturnal. I like the idea of Moondancer doing that job for Luna, but she wouldn't really fit here for the same reason as...
Kibitz is competent: the comic did a good job showing how his execution of the role is adapted to Celestia, and doesn't work well for Luna, but he still wouldn't inundate her with "my late package" complainants. It's a throwaway scene, yeah, I just wish it was a little less nonsensical.
