Handheld versions used to be completely different games outright. The switch versions just had small graphical compromises but otherwise were the exact same games. It's not like Tony Hawk's Underground the GBA version was an isometric game.

Not really, the majority of multiplats went to the switch. It'd be easier to list the games that didn't because it was only a handful of AAA games by comparison.
