I wonder if this is actually as prevalent as this data suggests or people are retarded and misunderstanding the question. Some people may some how be misunderstanding inner monologue to be an actual conversation with their brain as opposed to them just being able to think in their mind.
I say this because I really don't want to believe half of everyone I meet is legitimately braindead.
